Webinar: Ohio’s Benefits Bridge Pilot Program
Join us on Thursday, May 15th at 1:00pm for a webinar on Ohio’s Benefit Bridge Pilot program!
This innovative pilot supports Ohioans who are facing benefits cliffs over an 18-month program, which includes success planning, financial wellness curriculum, supportive services and work supports to help workers stay employed through benefits cliffs, and earn incentives if goals are achieved.
The program began with six pilot counties and is now operating in 12 counties. More than 500 Ohioans are currently enrolled in the program.
Ohio has received national attention for this pilot. We hope to see you next week!

Webinar: Federal & State Perspectives on Apprenticeships:
Current Outlook, Innovations, & Future Plans
Thursday, May 22, 1:00-2:00pm
Apprenticeship and work-based learning approaches have been around for longer than workforce development has been a field. Yet many people don't understand what exactly apprenticeship is, the benefits of registered apprenticeships (check out this OWC webinar from November 2022 for the basics), or why they are as important now as ever.
Join us for our May webinar to hear from John Colborn, Executive Director of Apprenticeships for America, and Holly Endicott, ODJFS Program Administrator for ApprenticeOhio, to learn the basics, innovations, and how the future looks for apprenticeship. They will share what to look for in a quality apprenticeship and more about the current plan for apprenticeships under the new federal administration.
